To paraphrase American funk singer James Brown, Adrien Samarasinha from Remax Metropolis has got to be the hardest-working realtor in the GTA. He did a simply outstanding job for us in our recent home purchase, planned home sale and basement rental in our new home.
We started house-hunting in May this year and found a house we liked and decided to put in an offer. We contacted Adrien around 7pm one evening to represent us and put in an offer. Adrien immediately called the sales agent and scheduled a viewing for 8am the next morning. We viewed the house again with Adrien the next morning and by 12pm that day, he had already put in an offer. That is how fast and smooth the process was with Adrien. All paperwork signed electronically! Unfortunately, that offer was not accepted, and we continued with our house hunting. A few weeks later we found an even nicer house and once again within hours of informing Adrien, he had put in offer which was accepted. Overall, I remember been so surprised at the process been so smooth and fast. I think we probably spent about 30-45 minutes total just to sign the electronic documents, which Adrien prepared and sent us.
We then needed to sell our existing home and once again asked Adrien to represent us in the sale. After a couple of weeks of renovations, as we were getting ready to put the house on the market, Adrien advised against selling the house, telling us we would not get a good price. He instead advised us to rent the house for a couple of years until the housing market improved and we got a better price. This was a clear indication of Adrien putting our best interests ahead of his (as he would clearly lose out on the real estate commission by not selling the house now). We were truly impressed with this.
However not selling our existing house, made the purchase difficult as our down-payment got drastically reduced. Adrien then put us in touch with iConnect Mortgages, who were able to work out a mortgage solution that allowed us to keep/rent our existing house and purchase our new house.
Finally, when we moved into our new house and decided to rent out basement, we once again reached out to Adrien to find us a new tenant. Adrien managed to find an excellent tenants within 3 to 4 days. Once again, the process was just unbelievably smooth and fast.
In addition to all of the above, Adrien used his excellent collection of contacts to get us a fantastic company that did an extremely detailed home inspection for us, as well as an excellent real estate lawyer who handled both our new home purchase as well as the refinancing of our existing home.
The whole process from initial offer on our new home to finally renting out our basement took just over 4 months and throughout this whole process, Adrien was contact with us almost daily (often several times a day) to ensure everything was moving smoothly and on time. I have never met someone who works so hard to ensure the success of their client.
If you are ever thinking of buying / selling / renting a house, I extraordinarily highly recommend Adrien to take of this. I can guarantee you that you will not regret this decision. Adrien will work his absolute hardest to make sure everything works extremely smoothly and will always look out for YOUR best interests! The best brokerage and admin team I have experienced so far. When Ricky said he is available for his team 24/7, he mean it. Whenever I called him he responded right away and answered all my questions and gave the best advice. Sabina and Ricky has access to all the pre-construction projects. And they make sure that their team gets access to all the materials as well. The administrative team is amazing. We don't have to worry about any paperwork. They handle everything very professionally. The marketing materials and training we get from the office has no match. What else I can say. My wife and I were in the market for an investment property and Re/Max Metropolis Realty came in highly rated by Google. They did not disappoint.
Sabina herself made the first contact. She was very calm and collective. Her words were comforting and her customer service skills was excellent. She referred us to one of her agents, who we really did not click with, but made alternative arrangements quickly when we asked for someone else.
We got the house within two months but we as buyers, were very instrumental in that process. I agree that we had an agent, but it is our money at the end of the day. We wanted to learn the process and go through the motion of the market. We did not rely heavily on the agent until they were absolutely needed. We did our own home work and got the house we wanted.
We reached out to the same agent to assist us with getting renters. That did not go as planned. Sabina stepped in again and immediately gave us Ruby Gujral to work with.
Ruby is very professional, honest and says it like it is. She gave honest opinions about necessary changes we needed to make in the house and
being a contractor, that was easy to accomplish. She got the renters for us in a months time and was very open about her findings regarding them. She guided us through the process and was easily reached when we needed her. We agreed with this renter and let's hope that works out.
At the end of the day, honesty and being trustworthy are very important assets to have when being a realtor in todays world. We as first time investment buyers needed someone we can trust and who we can turn to, as we do not know the entire process just yet. I applaud Sabina and Ruby for their efforts and being who they are. We would recommend them in a heart beat.

When I joined Metropolis, as it was my first ever brokerage I joined too, I was very nervous as to how this is going to turn out especially being young and an inexperienced individual, but Ricky and the team has helped me grow so much over this past year from helping me grow my social media with amazing content, to answering my calls at any time of the day, to helping me build the confidence within me to become that successful agent everyone wants to be, and to the admin team in the office for drafting paperwork for numerous offers even if some of them don’t work out,

Great help finding us a place in such a short time
I was looking for a Bachelor in Toronto downtown around September, needless to say it was not a easy thing to find. Especially since I am a newcomer in Canada and don't have a credit score.
However Simrit was able to find me a great place right where I wanted and within my price range. She was very reactive and she helped me negociate with the various landlords/brokers along the way.

I recently completed the purchase of a new home with Kapilan Kad in Bowmanville Ontario and can’t stop singing his praises. With all of the negative things you hear about realtors these days, its a blessing when you can find a realtor that will genuinely take care of your needs and put your interests ahead of their own.
